Security portal
The Security Portal consists of a cylinder block made from steel sheet 3mm thick with internal reinforcement.
The transit area components are made of high strength material as well as the curved doors made of multi strata bullet-resistant glass.
The metal detector and its column antennas are positioned in the transit area and can be easily maintained and removed. The electronic control boards are located on the secure side with easy access through a vertical panel.
Door movement is electromechanical activated. Motors are easily accessible.
The Security Doors are also provided with:
- An intercom system for communication to and from the outside and the operating console.
- A recorded message with instruction triggered by metal detector alarm.
- Ceiling lamp for zone transit illumination.
Push button control panel for opening the door and intercom communication.

After each metal detector alarm, the entire inner cylinder is checked without operator intervention to determine whether a weapon or similar metallic object has been intentionally left or hidden within the door's inner cylinder for later retrieval.
