di-bis The biometrics reader device di-bis allows a person identity check through the verification of the geometric data of two fingers of a hand.
Its use is flexible and individual parameters can be customised. Each user can be assigned his authority level, a number of available gates, a time zone. Di-bis accepts fingers to be presented within a certain range of positions. Acceptance thresholds can be individually set-up. Di-bis can be configured as a stand-alone unit, as a master/slave or networked. Template size is just 20 bytes. Standard memory accepts up to 1500 users. Available functions are:
Di-bisLon The di-bisLon is a powerful node based on the LonWorks technology, dedicated to the FDB, Field Data Base management. Recognition events are stored and kept in the FDB until these data are aligned with those existing in the LDB, Local Data Base on the central P.C. Data alignment of the two databases is done via the control software. Users database management (recognition storage, transit alarms) is totally transparent to the user. From the Hardware point of view, the di-bisLon features a 32 bit microprocessor (Layer Set Iso/Osi), while the Neuron Chip implements the direct net communications funcionalities (Layer-1-6). Many applications can be usefully equipping a di-bisLon as a data & event logger. Its memory stores information imported from outside and linked to an external-log variable. Images
